Johnny graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harding University in 1992 with a BBA in accounting. He got his CPA certification from the State of AR in 1995. Immediately out of school, Johnny went to work for Radford Equipment Company/RMI Construction in Little Rock, AR. These companies specialized in building convenience stores and including sales of all the fuel tanks and equipment necessary for that industry. Within 9 months, he was promoted to Controller learning the ins and outs of construction accounting and cash flow management.

With a lifelong desire to work in the income tax industry, Johnny worked for the accounting firm EK Williams & Co from 1994 – 1998. There, he passed his CPA exam and began working with all types of individual and business taxes.

In 1998, Johnny started his own CPA practice, Johnny Tollett, CPA, PA. His business grew quickly, and he became a well respected tax preparer and business consultant, specializing in income tax. As his reputation grew, he became a nationally known public speaker on the topic of real estate taxation. In 2007, he was named “Arkansas 40 under 40” being recognized as a future business leader in the state. To be able to devote more time to family and other ventures, Johnny sold his practice in 2018 to Fair & Company, CPAs where he still works and practices with select clients.

Working with thousands of businesses over a 30 year career, Johnny always had an itch to start a non-financial based business from the ground up. After a couple of years of research on growing industries, Johnny began focusing on starting an insulation business which eventually led him to iFOAM. He believes his business knowledge and the contacts he has developed over the years will make this endeavor a huge success.
